Dr. Mora is a clinical psychologist, licensed in New York (License #018957-1) and certified by the National Register of Health Service Psychologists. He is currently employed with the Department of Veterans Affairs, where he works on inpatient psychiatric units. He is also currently an Adjunct Professor of Psychology at St. Francis College. In 2014, he earned a postdoctoral certificate in Forensic Psychology from St. John's University. He was the 2014 President of the New York State Psychological Association's Division of Race, Culture, and Ethnicity. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, New York State Psychological Association, Hispanic Neuropsychological Society, and Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. Dr. Mora graduated from St. John’s University, during which time he received clinical training at Bellevue Hospital Center (Neuropsychology Program), Creedmoor Psychiatric Center, Lorenzo Ponce Psychiatric Hospital (in Guayaquil, Ecuador), St. John’s University Center for Psychological Services, and Pilgrim Psychiatric Center. Since graduating from St. John’s, he worked for the United States Federal Bureau of Prisons and the New York State Office of Mental Health.

Dr. Mora accepts insurances. However, if you have insurance coverage that Dr. Mora does not provide, he could see you as an out-of-network provider; therefore, you may get fully or partially reimbursed by your insurance company for the services provided. A free parking lot is available next to the office building. The office is located some blocks south from the Sayville Railroad Station, which is approximately a 10 minute walk away. A few Suffolk County buses pass by within a few blocks from the office - 40, 57, and 59.
