Dr. Mora is a clinical psychologist, licensed in New York (License #018957-1) and certified by the National Register of Health Service Psychologists. He is currently employed with the Department of Veterans Affairs, where he works on inpatient psychiatric units. In 2014, he earned a postdoctoral certificate in Forensic Psychology from St. John's University. He was the 2014 President of the New York State Psychological Association's Division of Race, Culture, and Ethnicity. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, New York State Psychological Association, Suffolk County Psychological Association, National Academy of Neuropsychology, and Hispanic Neuropsychological Society. Dr. Mora graduated from St. John’s University, during which time he received clinical training at Bellevue Hospital Center (Neuropsychology Program), Creedmoor Psychiatric Center, Lorenzo Ponce Psychiatric Hospital (in Guayaquil, Ecuador), St. John’s University Center for Psychological Services, and Pilgrim Psychiatric Center. Since graduating from St. John’s, he worked for the United States Federal Bureau of Prisons, the New York State Office of Mental Health, and St. Francis College.
